RICHMOND, VA, November 14, 2022 – Allianz Partners USA has announced that Heather McIntyre has joined the Henrico, VA-based travel insurance company as Chief Operations Officer USA. McIntyre joins Allianz Partners after a nearly 20-year career at GEICO, where she held a variety of different management roles. She has extensive experience in customer service, customer experience, digital transformation, product management and operations. At Allianz Partners, McIntyre will manage more than 1400 associates who handle customer-facing duties such as customer service, claims, direct sales and travel assistance. The company’s award-winning operations team recently won a coveted silver Stevie award for Customer Service Department of the Year in the Financial Services category.

Prior to joining Allianz Partners USA, McIntyre was most recently vice president of customer experience and customer relationship management for GEICO. She was previously vice president of GEICO’s countrywide sales and customer experience, among the ten positions she held over almost 20 years at GEICO. McIntyre is a native of Charlottesville, VA and holds both a BA in psychology and an MBA in marketing from the University of Tampa. Additionally, she is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter and a Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt.
