For emergency medical needs and travel safety issues, the enhanced Assistance Around Me feature uses geolocation to conveniently show locations and details for all nearby hospitals, health clinics, pharmacies, and police stations, along with the closest U.S. embassy.

TravelSmart™ puts critical safety and emergency medical response tools at the fingertips of travelers. The app makes it easy to find the closest trusted healthcare providers reviewed by Allianz. Using the geo-aware database and map of nearly 2,000 hospitals we’ve pre-evaluated in 130 countries, travelers can quickly find an appropriate medical facility nearby.
The app also translates common terms for first aid into up to 18 languages to enable Americans to communicate with first responders abroad. Customers can call Allianz Global Assistance’s medical assistance or customer service from a connected smartphone anywhere in the world via the TravelSmart™ hotline button on the app’s home screen.
